The International Churches of Christ has a number of distinctives.
The tower's first stage is plain, with a railing and corner pinnacles surrounding the smaller belfry stage above.
The railing and pinnacles are repeated at the top of the belfry, which is topped by an octagonal cupola with louvered lancet openings.
This fits well with the ICOC’s preferred method of “love-bombing”—suddenly and purposefully surrounding a person with high amounts of friendly contact, various forms of aid, and an overall sense of being immersed in a community—something first-year college students especially crave.
